Aline Cerf received her PhD in nanophysics from the University of Toulouse in 2010. Dr Cerf was a postdoctoral fellow at Cornell University (NY, USA) from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, she joined the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) as a research scientist where she developed new tools and devices for medical applications using micro/nanotechnologies.
She is the author of over 20 international scientific publications and 5 patents. Today, she is Chief Executive Officer of SmartCatch®, a spin-off of the CNRS, developing microtechnology-based devices for oncology and precision medicine.
