Know-how and prototypes
Economia FR Actualité

Each of us is using new technology more and more in day-to-day life, both at home and at work. This digital revolution has greatly affected society and is changing the way we live, think, learn, find information, move about and even take care of our health. In addition to presenting the best digital innovations of Paris-Saclay, these five thematic areas will seek to demonstrate the impact of new technology on society and its consequences for all of us.
All Paris-Saclay SPRING partners, including companies, laboratories and business accelerators, among others, are keen to present their know-how and prototypes to you within the five thematic areas of “Innovation Villages”.
ENERGY / CLIMATE / ENVIRONMENT

The energy transition process implies a series of major changes in power generation systems and the way in which we use energy (electricity, gas, heat). It also concerns mobility (electricity, gas) and buildings (thermal performance, active management).
We are the first to be affected by this process as it has gradually made us responsible for managing our energy needs. It directly affects our environment and its sustainability and, in general, our entire economy.

HEALTH
Economia FR Actualité
With the arrival of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Deep Learning and robotics, information and communication technology plays an increasingly important role in health, from genomic medicine to the well-being of individuals.
Digital health has become part of the life of citizens, consumers and patients. We expect major changes in research, treatment and medico-social services, in particular. We also expect a lot from ehealth (simplification, saving of time, lowering of costs, etc.) as long as access to health care is guaranteed for everyone and data remains secure.

Mobility
Economia FR Actualité
While the mobility of people and goods is growing and environmental matters are increasingly urgent, there are more and more ways to get around: car, public transport, car pooling, car sharing, autonomous shuttles, multimodal solutions, etc.
All of these new tools shall substantially transform our relationship with mobility and the way we see our journeys to bring about a responsible and sustainable mobility offer as soon as possible.

Smart Manufacturing
Economia FR Actualité
As stated by Louis Gallois, for French industry, the industry of the future represents an opportunity to get back in the race. Thanks to digitization, small and medium industrial enterprises have a unique opportunity to modernize their production equipment, regain their competitive edge and win market share
These changes will have an impact on people, who will see their work evolve and will have to adapt to new tools that will transform industry.

Security
Economia FR Actualité
As mentioned by Guillaume Poupard, the Director of the French national cybersecurity agency (ANSSI), “Security is an integral part of the digital transformation process.” Our digital data sheds light on our private and working life and sometimes contains information of a very personal nature.
It is therefore essential to protect the digital life of members of the public, who expect a transparent and effective response to the digital or physical threats that concern them and their equipment.
